So somehow calling out "A1" to your buddy has turned into weird mechanical villains fighting against the U.S. Navy. At least that is how things looked this past Super Bowl Sunday as Battleship gave their big teaser on their upcoming May release.

Oh and let's not forget that Liam Neeson, Josh Pence and Rihanna are there as well.

What is happening in Hollywood that we have sunk (no pun intended) to levels like this? The coming release of this film was nothing new, but this movie may just be an example of the movie industry taking something too far.

They were likely hoping to create another franchise out of this following the success that such movies like Transformers has had. Do you think the audience will bite, or is this one already a dead man walking?
