The New York Times   reports that the Academy Awards ideal demographic isn't interested again. After trying to get young adult attention last year with James Franco and Anne Hathaway apparently, Billy Crystal did not do the trick. The Oscars did have a slight rise in viewers the 18-49 demographic stayed the same. Yet, in comparison to the Grammy Awards the number of viewers altogether & 18-49 demo had more viewers. Was it just because of the upsetting death of Whitney Houston?

Sacha Baron Cohen Appears at Oscars in Character

This is a video clip of Sacha Baron Cohen in character as General Aladeen from his upcoming film 'The Dictator' being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest at the Oscars. He irritates Ryan Seacrest to no end as he pours Kim Jong Il's ashes on him. The video is likely to go viral, it's quite a treat. A perfect example of how when it comes to controversial comedies, there's no such thing as bad press.
