Barnes & Noble is really pulling out all the merchandising stops, using the sheer number of suggested products and categories to communicate that you need to get ready for this movie. But they don't really say WHY you need to get ready for this movie other than the bandwagon approach of marketing it as a cultural phenomenon. The hype is really amazing.

Hunger Games AMC Email Ad
This is an email ad sent to members of the AMC club that lets people book online without extra fees. There are some very direct calls to action to purchase tickets, along with links to watch videos and buy the books. Good one AMC...
