Kids Choice 2012 Promotional Video
This clip is a promotional video for the Kid's Choice Awards. Will Smith gathers the kids to test out slime guns for the show. Guns are acceptable in this case because they are shooting slime. The video is all about sliming celebrities. Will Smith transports the lead star of "Victorious" to be the target of his slime gun. This attracts the Nickelodeon audience perfectly. Then he transports Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter, also bringing in a suitable audience. Then Cameron Diaz comes out and challenges Will Smith. This is a way for the older audience to get excited for the award show. This promotional video, in my opinion, represents the Kid's Choice Award's ability to appeal to both children and adults via the celebrities that attended.

Bieber, Halle Berry, Lautner Get Slimed
It was hard finding stuff on the Kids Choice Awards that hadn't already been posted on here. This article is from earlier today and talks about the sliming. Some celebrities like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez escaped the slime, but Halle Berry, Taylor Lautner and Justin Bieber didn't. Justin Bieber was the last to get slimed and he got it the most! He said on twitter that he "didn't get slimed. I got destroyed Big Willy Style! Haha. Slime is cold..." Sliming Bieber when he went to receive the favorite male artist award during the Kid's Choice Award probably brings in a lot of publicity and views among the young demographic [which is ideal for the Kid's Choice Awards]. With Justin Bieber's amount of tweeting and interaction via social media, there were probably a large number of fans who heard about Justin getting slimed and then chose to stream it online. Already there are 5 youtube videos of Justin getting slimed, and combined together, those videos have brought 800,000 views in two days.
