As I'm sure most of you would agree, there has been very little marketing for Snow White and The Huntsmen starring Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart. I came across this article and couldn't help but think of The Brothers Grimm in terms of cast and effects when I looked at the newly released banner. With that in mind Mirror Mirror and Snow White and The Huntsmen, which will be released in March and June respectively, are basically two halves of the same whole. The classic children's tale will be portrayed with Mirror Mirror and the more adventurous version will emerge with Snow White and The Huntsmen. The real question is: with only a few promotional posters and a single trailer released for Snow White and The Huntsmen, is it possible that Universal is relying on the cast to draw in moviegoers?
I think they are holding off their marketing campaigns to see the response to Mirror, Mirror.
ReplyDeleteThey will have two months to see the response, and if Mirror, Mirror does well, they will already have a market that could be interested for more Snow White.
