Barnes & Noble Hunger Games Email Ad
This is another ad I received in an email. Click the headline for a full view and zoom in. Barnes & Noble is really pulling out all the merchandising stops, using the sheer number of suggested products and categories to communicate that you need to get ready for this movie. But they don't really say WHY you need to get ready for this movie other than the bandwagon approach of marketing it as a cultural phenomenon. The hype is really amazing.
