Those registered at thecapitol.pn received an e-mail yesterday to promote the beginning of the games. It was a letter from President Snow about the midnight premier, which also had links embedded within the e-mail and at the bottom for an official iPhone game featuring Katniss, a link for a tour of Panem, and a Behind the Beard interview with Seneca. This certainly got my friends excited who are more invested in the film and I think it's a great marketing strategy for the Katniss iPhone game since I'd never heard of it before now.
