No shock there! Hunger Games grossed $19.7 million just from the domestic midnight showings. Having been one of those people who waited in line, it came as no shock reading this article. It scored the highest midnight gross for a nonsequel EVER "and the seventh best midnight gross overall." Gary Ross definitely did something right!
