'The Voice' sends NBC to a 'Smash' night in ratings

Luckily "The Voice" landed the slot after the Super Bowl's programming, also known as the most watched event on television all year. 'The Voice' did extremely well and viewers tuned in for the following week when it aired on a Monday night. 'Smash' followed that show, and won the week's ratings at 11.5 million. NBC ruled the Monday ratings and beat both ABC and CBS. Unfortunately the article lists 'Alcatraz' under ratings as well, coming in this week with a lousy 6.8 million. Hopefully this line-up will be a miracle worker for NBC and 'Smash' and 'The Voice' continue to draw in viewers.
